no problem, I find Imelda a fascinating character. I coloured more photos of her, you can see them all in a separate folder in my gallery.

Indira Gandhi... dictator, extremist, murderer who had genocidal tendantcies against minorities.

"In three hundred years the British government never dared. In two thousand years of Mohammedan rule, Mohammedans never dared. No army could enter the Golden Temple. It had become conventionally accepted that the Golden Temple had its own authority, a kind of sovereignty in its own territory. The assassination of Indira Gandhi was not accidental. She was the first one who forced the army into the Golden Temple. This was provoking the Sikhs, and if they got mad and assassinated her, it was not just accidental: she had asked for it." ~ OSHO

Tell me more about Indira Gandhi please. For example, what wrongs did she do?

I have to admit the only times I heard of her seemed to be in her praise and I wouldn't mind having a mixed view. :)

Really?

As Indians are awakening to the crimes against humanity carried out, in there name; history is beginning to remember the "wicked witch of the east" (Indira Gandhi) for what she actually did, rather than what the political propaganda they would have us believe.

For much more information, I will relay you onto what I've written on the topic - [link] and [link] and there is much more information available if you google, Operation Bluestar, Sikh Genocide, and the Delhi Anti-Sikh Riots/Pogrom. Indira Gandhi, also was a dictator as the state of Punjab was withdrawn its constitutional right too vote, and all votes automatically went to Indira Gandhi's Congress Party. After her death, the Congress Party launched a murderous rampage in Punjab, killing hundreds of thousands of Sikh's and Hindu's. They called it 'counter terrorism', but the Indian government, via the Police, Army and Secret Security Services were by far the biggest terrorists of all, torturing, murdering and raping millions. Hundreds of thousands died, the economy of historically India's richest state stagnated. I think some Indian politicians see Punjab as un-Indian, as 3/5 of old Punjab is now in Pakistan. Punjab is still suffering in India, and Indian Security Services still traffic drugs into the Punjab. A large chunk of the Taxes collected from Punjab, go too other states. There is a political will to destroy Punjab, because most of the people in this state are of a ethnic and religious minority. But no NGO cares. Indira Gandhi and the Congress Party even banned Amnesty International (and other Human Rights groups) from Punjab during the time they committed there most heinous crimes.
